1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and The Infosharp (“we”, “us”), the developer of the MaterialX Android app (“the app”). By installing or using the app you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your purchase and download. If they conflict with these Terms on a matter of purchase, payment or refund, Google Play's terms govern.
2. Your licence
When you buy MaterialX, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on Android devices you own or control, linked to your Google Play account, for your own non-commercial use.
You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app or its designs, except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction. You may not rent, sell or sublicense the app.
3. Purchases and refunds
MaterialX is a paid app sold through Google Play. The price is shown on Google Play before you buy, and Google processes the payment. We never receive your payment details.
Refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policy. In most countries you can request a refund directly in Google Play within 48 hours of purchase. After that, contact us and we will help where we can. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Your purchase includes future updates to the app that we choose to release, at no extra charge.
4. Acceptable use
Please use MaterialX only for lawful purposes, and don't try to interfere with the app, bypass its licensing, or use it to infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Ownership
The app, its widget designs, artwork, animations, code and the MaterialX name and logo belong to The Infosharp and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Your licence doesn't transfer ownership of any of them.
Notes you write and settings you choose are yours. Android, Google Play and Material You are trademarks of Google LLC. Song titles, artists and album art shown in widgets belong to their respective owners and come from the music app you are using.
6. Information shown in widgets
Widgets display information from your device and from third parties, such as weather forecasts, battery and earbuds levels, calendar events and screen-time figures. We work hard to show it accurately, but it is provided for general information only and may be delayed, estimated or incorrect. Battery estimates and earbuds levels depend on what your phone and devices report.
Don't rely on MaterialX for decisions where accuracy matters for safety, such as severe-weather warnings. Always check official sources.
How quickly widgets update depends on your launcher, your phone's battery-saving settings and Android itself, which are outside our control.
7. Third-party services
Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo under its own terms. Widgets can open and control other apps on your phone, such as your music player, clock or settings. We aren't responsible for third-party services or apps, their availability or their content.
8. Updates and availability
We may update the app to add, change or remove features, fix problems or keep up with new Android versions. Some features may not work on every device, launcher or Android version. We aim to keep MaterialX working well but can't promise it will always be available or compatible with every device.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Infosharp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Your licence ends automatically if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability, survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts where the law allows.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
